Summer Food Program Volunteer
The Summer Food Service Program ensures that low-income children continue to receive nutritious meals when school is not in session and free/reduced school meals are not available. Children ages 18 and younger can go to a Summer Food site and receive breakfast, lunch, snack, or dinner, as well as participate in fun activities.Volunteers will be leading the programming and activities at a Summer Food site to help get youth interested in attending, where they will then be able to experience fun activities with their friends and get a nutritious meal.
The Summer Food Program runs from June 10 to August 16.
Sign up to volunteer here. For more information, contact Rachel Schaffer at [email protected].
