Sarah Orris - President
My name is Sarah Orris, and I am in my sophomore year as a Biological Sciences major with a Chemistry minor. I plan on being a genetic counselor for the future to help families deal with difficult diagnoses. Along with being the President for Mary's Meals, I am also involved in Project Heal, Student Support Services, and Pitt Band. In addition to extracurricular activities, I am also an office assistant and research assistant. I originally joined Mary's Meals in the Spring of 2018, and I have become the President in Spring 2019. Though my academics are heavily involved in science, I love playing/listening to music, watching crime shows, and finding ways to get Pitt involved in ending world hunger! Coming from a low-income/first-generation family, I understand how valuable getting a quality education is, and I love that Mary's Meals gives every child a fair chance to succeed. Thank you for your involvement!
